Arctic Import is a family-owned company with deep roots in the North Atlantic. Since our founding in 1978, we have grown into one of Greenland’s leading B2B wholesalers — with a strong focus on local responsibility, sustainabilit, and community engagement.
The name Arctic Import is no coincidence. The North Atlantic is our home, and everyday life here is our passion. We serve customers across Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland, acting as a specialized trading partner for both public institutions and private enterprises.
Our product range is broad — spanning retail goods, food products, and non-food items. We cater to a diverse customer portfolio, from small businesses with day-to-day deliveries to large hotel chains, restaurants, construction companies, healthcare institutions, and public and private organizations.
With more than four decades of experience, we have built strong expertise and a deep understanding of our markets. Today, Arctic Import is a trusted distributor and business partner throughout the North Atlantic — recognized for our high level of service, insight, and efficient logistics.

With wholesale warehouses and offices in Nuuk and Tórshavn, as well as an office in Aalborg, we are strategically positioned to ensure stable supply chains across the region. We deliver not only to the larger towns but also to the most remote communities in the north — because everyone deserves access to reliable supplies.
Today, Arctic Import employs 100 dedicated people who work every day to ensure quality, flexibility, and a personal touch in everything we do. We play an essential role in supplying groceries, food products, equipment, and materials to the retail, tourism, construction, and mineral industries — and we do it with pride.
Transport Experts
We have experts who know what it takes, and strong partnerships in logistics. We manage the process when goods need to be shipped from Denmark to the North Atlantic countries, and from a local warehouse out to the customers.
