Loose inventory to Atuarfik Mathias Storch
Arctic Import won the public tender for the supply of loose inventory for the school Atuarfik Mathias Storch in Ilulissat. The delivery included touch screens, tables, chairs, storage solutions, sofa furniture, blackboards, lamps, clocks, outdoor furniture, curtains, graphics, kitchenware, tools, and more.
Arctic Import has been in close dialogue with architects regarding the quantity, color composition, and material selection to identify the best solutions for the school.
The classrooms are equipped with the active teaching chair Ray and the height-adjustable table SUB, both from Labofa, as well as interactive boards from Prowise, and whiteboards and bulletin boards from Abstracta.
The school plaza has various zones, including dining/meeting areas with round tables featuring the Mood chair from Randers Radius Design and break areas with bean bags from Fatboy. The top level of the school plaza is furnished with soft furniture that can be arranged as needed, cushions, and round poufs from Softline, as well as the modular sofa from Howe. The mobile screen walls from Abstracta are effective in creating smaller spaces within the larger area.
In the storage room, a solution with flexible steel shelving from BCI library furniture has been implemented. The interior and exterior signage has been custom-made for the task. The administration area is furnished with timeless tables and storage from Holmris and the elegant and ergonomic Cobra chair from Labofa. Attention to detail is evident in features such as desk screens and lamps, as well as storage boxes in solid oak.
In the subject-specific classrooms, stools are used instead of school chairs and small triangular tables that can be arranged in various ways. The cloakrooms are equipped with mobile wardrobes from Hyll-teknik, featuring flexible hat shelves with hooks and shoe shelves with drip trays.
